Follow them if you're in that area. Here's their full post on plowing updates: Good morning Benzie! We are through the worst of it. I’m incredibly proud of our team here. Everyone put in a 16–19 hour day on Monday and 12–15 hours on Tuesday. No matter how frustrating things got (it wasn't just personal vehicles that couldn't make it down roads), everyone stepped up and kept pushing forward. We truly have something special here. We aren't done yet, today is a massive clean up and widening everything back out. Tomorrow will be loaders, skip loaders, and the graders turn. Storm totals (Thursday–Tuesday) in Honor, MI - 26.5" All of that came with rain and winds up to 50 mph. | Latest Snow: #gaylord -- Trail Report: FREDERIC - GAYLORD AREA UPDATE via Sledheads of Frederic , Michigan Snowmobiling >> 03/31 That's a Wrap on the 25-26 Sled Season - Well here we are up to March 31, 2026 and the end of the season with more snow that we have seen in a long , long time. Still alot to melt off here in Frederic, Piles were huge and so very rock hard its still gonna take them a while to melt down. The good thing about all the snow was that it spread the riders out all thru the state which made for a much safer season. Even with that there were still 12 deaths with only 4 in the lower and the rest in the u.p. In looking at the sledview camera north of Gayord the trail is still covered with snow. All pics below here took about noon in Frederic today. We had alot of rain overnight and its still coming on and off now. A couple things I am looking for this summer are a nice newer touring sled so maybe next year I can go on the Darkside Adventures ride so I need something newer with a big windshield and comfy. Also a side by side Polaris Ranger. Give me a call if you have something for sale like that. Thank you to all that came in to see me this past season. I really thought we were going to get a full 16 week season but it didnt happen, but stil pretty darn good. Next season will my 30th season in here……boy how time flies when your having fun. Thanks for checking in and if I will probably have only a few posts now until fall. I dont usually put my open sign on in the summer but if my truck or car is here stop on in. Conditions: Good Updated: 02 / 11 By: DerMiner's Parkside Resort |
| Trail Report: Yesterday the trails in Otsego County were in good condition but a little fast due to the limited amount of snow we have had in the past few weeks. Today, I am happy to report that the South Gaylord (trail #7 area) had a few inches of snow last night, and it's been snowing at a steady to heavy fall for much of the day. I haven't seen the groomer yet today but he usually comes by twice a day. Conditions should be great for snowmobiling this weekend but expect it to be busy. We are expecting colder than normal temperatures for Saturday & Sunday so bundle up, and have fun! --- Complete Report --- More Report Links |

| Latest Snow: #gaylord -- Trail Report: 122624984478774 Gaylord Bureau - March 29, 2026 9:15 a.m. **Just a few days left to ride! Please remember that designated snowmobile trails are open through March 31.** Temperatures are supposed to stay warm for the next few days, so expect trail conditions to change quite a bit as the snow melts. It will be too warm for any additional grooming. Trail 7 North is currently in good shape heading north and south. Lakes of the North is also in good shape as of Sumday morning. The trails toward Johannesburg are in poor shape with water on the trail. Please note, due to last April’s ice storm, there are logging operations in some locations. Logging is taking place on the intersection of trails 7 & 4 (Waters) toward Dodge Lake and near Turtle Lake Road (East of Gaylord). The logging trucks may use the trail as a road at times. Proceed with caution in these areas. Trails are still passable and the groomers are doing their best to keep the trails smooth in these areas. Check out a live view of trail # 7 here. A few things to remember about our groomers and trails: – Groomers are out there to help you have a better riding experience and always have the right of way. – Please move off the trail when groomers are approaching and allow them to safely pass. – If you approach a groomer from behind, kindly wait for the operator to signal you to pass. – Grooming can take place at any time during the day or night, so stay alert. – Always ride on the right side of the trail. – Ride safe and ride sober. | Latest Snow: #harborsprings,#petoskey -- Trail Report: HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club >> 04/01 ❄️ WHAT A SEASON ❄️ This time last year, we weren’t even sure that we would have a season after the historic ice storm that destroyed much of our trail system. Fast forward to now… we just wrapped up a RECORD season! For the first time in years, we were able to groom pretty consistently from the very first weekend all the way to the end. What an incredible turnaround. A HUGE thank you to our Groomer Operators: Bryan, Dale, Chance, Cody, Evan, Jim, Nick, & Thomas — you guys absolutely crushed it this year! 👏 Thank you to our amazing volunteers who keep everything else running: Angie, Dave P, Dave T, Dean, Greta, Justine, Mike, Pat, Rob, & Wayne — we couldn’t do this without you! Thank you to all of our Business Sponsors: Audie’s Restaurant, Clyde’s Place, Chubbs Marina, Cooks Hardware, County Wide Powersports, Cross Village Mart, Beachs Up North Tavern, Moose Jaw Junction, Northwoods Family Restaurant, & Spankys for your continued support — you are a huge part of what makes this all possible. And to everyone who rode our trails, came to events, donated, or supported the club in any way — THANK YOU. We truly appreciate every one of you and can only hope next season is just as good as this one was! There’s still snow to get out and ride on state trails, but all gates on our private property sections are now closed. 📍 Reminder: We have a meeting tomorrow at 7pm at the Harbor Springs Groomer Barn. We are always looking for more volunteers — if you’re interested in getting involved, we’d love to see some new faces! <> <> --- Complete Report --- More Report Links |

| Trail Report: Although we need more, we’re thankful for the snow we got overnight. It’s about an inch of new stuff–pretty light and fluffy. We need more snow before we can groom but the south end of our trail system is actually in decent shape. There’s a little more snow down that direction and traffic has been light. We’re still dealing with water holes in a few spots on the north part of Trail 76. You’ll see a sign saying “WET AREA” right before the largest hole. They all should be frozen enough now to support snowmobile traffic. We’re in the mid-20’s and light snow is falling. The radar shows snow over us but the weather people say it will taper off this afternoon. We’ve got a light wind out there but overall it’s comfortable riding weather. Tonight we’ll dip down to single digits and may see a little light snow. So there you have it–conditions are good at the south end of Indian River and fair as you head north of town (just not as much snow). Enjoy your day out there and THINK SNOW!…Are you interested in a volunteer leadership position in our grooming club? We need a dedicated volunteer to assist the club president and learn the ropes before he retires. For more information visit our website and send an email. Thank you!
